Blanchy’s Tash, a new high-end restobar has opened on Hai Ba Trung in the spot formerly occupied by Sandals.
Having also knocked through to the neighbouring building, Blanchy’s Tash sports a funky and stylish contemporary design over three large floors (bar, restaurant and terrace), and offers a unique fusion of Japanese and South American cuisine, as well as a global selection of wines, beers, cocktails, and tapas-style snacks ranging from VND84,000 to VND126,000 a go.
Established and operated by a collective of the city’s restaurateurs, the head chef has been snapped up from Nobu, the world-renowned Michelin-star restaurant in London. Mixologist Milos Zica, formerly of Manhattan’s Employees Only bar and voted runner-up in the Best Barman Awards in the US in 2009, has also been brought on board to oversee the cocktail menu.
Open daily from 11am to 3am, Blanchy’s Tash caters for lunch, dinner and drinks crowds. Expect tunes played on the decks both during the week and every weekend courtesy of local and international DJs.
